Established in 1997, the Phonological Typologies Project focuses on determining the typological properties of developing sound systems and how they compare with and inform our understanding of adult systems.
Our research focused on monolingual English and Spanish as well as bilingual Spanish-English populations. Aspects of our research have been supported by the National Institutes of Health and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation.
